Whether IN schools or Virtual Learning, KIDS NEED YOU.
With your help, Communities In Schools® (CIS™) Site Coordinators work with communities to support the School Strategic Plan and meet students and parents individually to develop attendance, behavior, and coursework goals. Through daily interactions and regular meetings with students, Site Coordinators encourage, inspire, and celebrate student success.
The power of one-on-one relationships allows us to identify and meet nonacademic needs as well, like food, housing, technology, and healthcare—going wherever we’re needed and doing whatever it takes to connect underserved students to the supports they need in the classroom and beyond.
You can make lasting change in a student’s life. Now more than ever, we’re called on to achieve equity in education and support the social, emotional, and mental well-being of our students and their families.
